Netflix acquires nuclear weapons spec script 'Run the Football'

Netflix has purchased the spec script 'Run the Football,' a film about nuclear weapons. Writers Josh and Spencer Marentette sold the project, which will be produced by Dylan Clark and Jaume Collet-Serra.

The deal brings the story to Netflix for development as a feature film. The Marentette brothers created the original screenplay centered on the theme of nuclear weapons.
