Neura Robotics raises up to 1.4 billion dollars

The robotics start-up Neura Robotics from Metzingen has completed the largest funding round of any German company. The firm raised up to 1.4 billion dollars from international investors and now reaches a valuation of seven billion dollars.

The company, founded in 2019, develops industrial and household robots as well as a humanoid robot. It also distributes the Neuraverse platform as an operating system for intelligent robots. US corporations such as Tether, Amazon, Nvidia and Qualcomm mainly participated in the round. Company head David Reger said the financing secures Neura a leading position in the global robotics race. Reger also emphasized the goal of not only being a European champion but winning the Champions League worldwide.
