Nike to release laceless First Sight sneaker

Nike is preparing to launch a new sneaker model called the First Sight. The design features a laceless construction with sculptural elements and bubble-like details at the heel.

The sneaker combines elements of a performance runner and a fashion shoe. It uses wavy paneling over breathable mesh along with metallic accents for a modern appearance.

The model avoids references to past Nike designs. Instead it introduces a fresh silhouette without drawing from older running shoes or anniversary editions.

Nike plans to make the First Sight available on its website on July 24. The release marks an effort by the brand to introduce original styles amid ongoing trends that often revisit archives.
