Nebraska shot 46.9% from the field and 9-of-27 from three, with 19 assists and just six turnovers. Both teams attempted 12 free throws, with Nebraska making 11 and Rutgers seven.

The win gave Nebraska a record sixth Big Ten road victory this season, surpassing previous marks of five set in 1965-66 and earlier. The Huskers are now 9-1 away from home and 50-10 under coach Fred Hoiberg when scoring 80 or more points.

Nebraska returns home Tuesday to face No. 12 Purdue at 6 p.m. CST on FS1.
