Oil companies raised fuel prices again on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, with diesel hikes up to P19.80 per liter. The increases stem from ongoing US-Iran tensions and global oil supply disruptions. This marks the 13th to 15th consecutive weekly rise.

These hikes follow weeks of rises linked to the US-Israel war against Iran that began on February 28, disrupting Middle East shipping routes and driving up crude oil prices.
Last week, Metro Manila diesel ranged from P110 to P150.30 per liter, gasoline from P82.50 to P105.60. Industry sources said diesel could reach up to P170 per liter this week.
