Korlantas Polri has postponed Operasi Patuh 2026, originally set to begin on 8 June 2026. The delay allows all personnel to focus on Hari Bhayangkara commemorations.
Kakorlantas Polri Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho said the postponement was made because the police institution is currently prioritizing Hari Bhayangkara activities. He stated, 'Kita tunda, Polri konsentrasi Hari Bhayangkara.' The operation is normally aimed at improving traffic compliance and reducing violations and accidents. A new schedule will be set after the Hari Bhayangkara events conclude. Korlantas Polri continues to urge the public to obey traffic rules even though the operation will not take place soon.
