Orquesta Solístico launches pocket concerts cycle at GAM

The Orquesta Solístico de Santiago will launch three intimate concerts titled Resonancias del agua starting July 17 at Centro GAM.

The ensemble, made up of musicians from the Filarmónica de Santiago and led by violinist Macarena Ferrer, will present the cycle in a reduced format designed to highlight the skill of featured soloists.

The first date on July 17 will include works by Bach, Porpora, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel and Chilean composer Jean Barahona, performed by soloists including Claudia Fonseca, Macarena Ferrer, Cristhopher Osorio, María Hannemann Vera, Paula Barrera, Barbara Ramírez and Karla Rodríguez.

Subsequent performances are scheduled for August 26 and September 10, with tickets available on the Centro GAM website.
