The ANFP president confirmed that the national team signed a contract with Marathon for the qualifiers and the 2028 Copa América, and that VAR will be used in the second round of the Liga de Ascenso.
Pablo Milad revealed that the contract with Marathon has already been signed and that the brand will begin operations from January 1. He noted that jersey sales have increased by 70 to 80 percent.
The official also confirmed that VAR will be used in the second stage of the promotion championship after a successful tender. The measure aims for greater objectivity in refereeing decisions and requires approval from the clubs.
Milad stated that the new federation board will choose the next coach for La Roja. He said the two ANFP commissions are working intensely on the transition.
