A person was shot at a parking lot in Jordbro south of Stockholm on Tuesday evening. The victim was taken conscious to hospital by ambulance while police hunt the perpetrator.
Police received the call at 18:42 on Tuesday evening about bangs in the area. On site officers confirmed that a person had been shot outdoors at a parking lot near the commuter station.
The victim was awake and able to speak when the ambulance left the scene. Police have cordoned off the area for technical examination and are using drones and a helicopter in the search.
Police are investigating the incident as attempted murder. Spokesperson Carina Skagerlind said several witnesses have been interviewed and that the area has many cameras that may aid the inquiry. No arrests have been made.
