National Police units were patrolling the El Tesoro neighborhood in Neiva when they spotted a man pushing a motorcycle. Upon noticing the officers, the man abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee but was intercepted shortly afterward.

When questioned about the motorcycle's origin, he claimed he was taking it to a workshop. A plate check, however, confirmed it had been stolen on March 18, 2026, in the CAI Palmas jurisdiction.

"The preventive and operational work of our officers helps counter crimes like receiving stolen goods and recover citizens' property. We invite the community to verify vehicle origins and report any suspicious activity promptly," said Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Humberto Aguilar Carvajal, acting commander of the Neiva Metropolitan Police.
