Pop Mart announced its Labubu x Sanrio collaboration on March 6, 2026, generating excitement among fans on social media. The lineup features Labubu plush pendants dressed as Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pochacco, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin, plus a secret Hello Kitty variant in overalls and red bow with a 1.4% pull chance.

The blind boxes, priced under $40 each, drop online at popmart.com on March 12, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT), with a POP NOW feature allowing preview of contents. They will also appear in Pop Mart stores starting April 2026. A separate Labubu x Hello Kitty Vinyl Plush Doll, standing 14 inches tall and retailing for $150, includes an embroidered sleep mask, pillow, and two-piece outfit inspired by Hello Kitty's red overalls, blue shirt, and face mask.

Emily Brough, Pop Mart Americas’ Head of Licensing, stated in a release: “By bringing together two brands with strong global audiences, this collaboration underscores POP MART‘s commitment to artist-forward, collectible design. Both LABUBU and Sanrio have passionate fanbases, and this partnership engages collectors and fans alike, blending timeless Sanrio appeal with the playful mischief that has made LABUBU a global icon.” The partnership aims to celebrate friendship, individuality, and everyday joy.

A Sanrio representative told Elite Daily: “As of now, this is a limited release and there are no plans to restock once sold out.” Fans expressed enthusiasm online, with one TikTok user writing, “OMG !!!!! THE COLLAB OF MY DREAMS!!! I need them,” and an Instagram commenter noting, “100% adorable. I would love to purchase my very first Labubu.” The items may later appear on Amazon, though no specific date was given.
