Designer Prisca Vera Franchetti unveiled her Priscavera Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection, channeling 1990s grunge and club-ready styles. The lineup features sexy going-out pieces with modern twists on era silhouettes. Franchetti emphasized fun elements and personal cool in the designs.
Prisca Vera Franchetti drew inspiration for her Priscavera Fall 2026 collection from obscure 1990s New York runway shows, embracing a grungy aesthetic. “The collection started off as very grungy, and you can definitely see that,” she said. “So many of the mood board images were from obscure shows in ’90s New York—these very dark, small shows.” The designer aimed to update these references for contemporary wearers, focusing on party-ready attire over strict minimalism. She noted a desire to add adventure: “I wanted to infuse a fun element back into fall,” with more layering, transparency, and vibrant colors in the palette. The opening look featured a laced-up low-cut top paired with bleached trousers, evoking club nights. Other highlights included a sheer plaid slip dress layered over a stud-trimmed black bra top and briefs, or a lacy black square-neck dress with tights. Franchetti expanded into separates and outerwear, such as metallic-blue track pants with buttoned sides—“I liked the idea of sweatpants you can go out in”—and a minty Mongolian lamb coat with a matching hand muff. Lace-trimmed slip dresses and fuzzy cropped cardigans rounded out pieces suited for downtown dinners. “It was definitely driven by what I want to wear, and my definition of cool,” Franchetti said.
