Xiaomi is gearing up for a busy start to the new year with launches in India, led by the Redmi Note 15 5G smartphone. The company has confirmed that the device will hit the market on January 6, 2026, alongside the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G tablet.

Media reports claim the base variant of the Redmi Note 15 5G, featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, will be priced at 22,999 rupees. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option is expected at 24,999 rupees. However, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these prices. The phone's microsite is already live, revealing key specifications.

The smartphone boasts a 108MP primary rear camera supporting multifocal portrait modes. It includes a 5520mAh battery with 45W fast charging, which the company says can provide up to 1.6 days of backup on a full charge. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, the base model comes with 8GB RAM. The device also has an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance and measures 7.35mm in thickness.

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G will feature a 12.1-inch display and a 1200mAh battery, positioning it as a mid-range tablet. Xiaomi has already disclosed several details about this product. This launch is expected to bolster Xiaomi's strong presence in the Indian market.
