The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection announced on March 7, 2026, 21 ultra-luxury voyages aboard its superyacht Luminara for summer 2027, including 15 sailings in Alaska, four in Asia, and two transpacific crossings from April to October. The 452-guest vessel offers intimate access to remote ports, immersive wildlife and cultural experiences, high-end amenities, and expedition-style cruising starting at $10,000 per person.

Luminara, the third vessel in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht fleet after Evrima and Ilma and delivered in 2025, features 226 suites (301 to 1,000 square feet) with private terraces, a high staff-to-guest ratio, Ritz-Carlton Spa with treatments like Glacier Stone Massages using Alaskan botanicals, multiple dining venues with regional cuisine and local seafood, pools, and a marina for water sports and Zodiac outings.

Alaska's 15 voyages, lasting 8-14 nights, operate primarily between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Whittier, Alaska, via the Inside Passage. Highlights include glacier viewing in Tracy Arm Fjord and Tongass National Forest, ports like Ketchikan, Sitka, Wrangell, Klawock, and remote stops during bear season and salmon runs. Excursions offer guided hikes, privately chartered glacier flights, wilderness dining, Indigenous heritage tours, wildlife spotting, and onboard enrichment by naturalists, historians, and ecosystem experts.

The four Asia voyages debut Seoul as a turnaround port. A 10-night sailing departs Tokyo for Seoul on April 25, 2027, visiting Shimizu, Hiroshima, Fukuoka (Japan), Jeju (South Korea), and Tianjin (China) for Beijing access. A 10-night Tokyo roundtrip on October 13, 2027, calls at Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Busan and Jeju (South Korea), Nagasaki, Kagoshima, Otaru (overnight), and Akita (Japan), with cultural experiences like food tours, tea ceremonies, Peace Memorial Park, temples, and Mount Fuji views. Two transpacific crossings connect the regions.

The program emphasizes sustainability with hybrid propulsion, conservation partnerships, and high per-guest spending benefiting local economies in ports like Vancouver, Whittier, Tianjin, and Seoul. Bookings open at $10,000 per person for affluent travelers seeking personalized, in-depth luxury.
