Il centrocampista del Manchester City Rodri non ha voluto smentire le voci su un possibile trasferimento al Real Madrid. Parlando durante il media day della Spagna per i Mondiali, il ventinovenne ha dichiarato che ogni decisione verrà presa solo dopo il torneo.

Rodri, a cui resta un anno di contratto con il Manchester City, ha risposto alle indiscrezioni che lo accostano a un ritorno in Spagna. In passato ha militato nell'Atletico Madrid prima di approdare al City. "Fa parte del calcio", ha affermato. "Sono concentrato sul mio ruolo di leader nella nazionale. Questo è il mio modo di fare. Capisco le voci che circolano, ma non intendo perdere tempo con questo. Vedremo dopo i Mondiali".
