SD appoints review after Kalla Fakta revelations

The Sweden Democrats have hired an external audit firm to review information revealed in TV4's Kalla Fakta program. Party leader Jimmie Åkesson confirmed the decision in an interview with Sveriges Radio.

Åkesson said one of the larger audit firms is now going through the questions raised by TV4.

– So we will see when they come back if there is anything we need to correct, he said.

Kalla Fakta's investigation has shown deficiencies in the party's bookkeeping of internal dinners. It has also revealed that the party's subsidiary bought a large number of copies of a book written by Åkesson.
