Sennheiser announces momentum 5 wireless headphones

Sennheiser has unveiled the Momentum 5 Wireless headphones, its successor to the Momentum 4 model with upgrades focused on sound and noise cancellation.

The new headphones retain the same 42mm transducers and overall design as their predecessor but add Hi-Res Audio certification along with Snapdragon Sound support for aptX Lossless. Sennheiser's app gains an 8-band equalizer, and the headphones work with the company's BTD 700 dongle for lossless Bluetooth audio. A day one firmware update will bring Dolby Atmos with head tracking, while Bluetooth 6.0 compatibility is planned for a later release.
