M, KD, L, C and MP want an extra meeting to discuss permanent permits after the World Cup. The Social Democrats oppose the proposal.
Several parties in Stockholm want to make the temporary serving permits that applied during the World Cup permanent. During the World Cup, bars have been allowed to serve alcohol until 08:00.
Gulan Avci (L) plans to submit a request on Wednesday for an extra meeting in the social committee. The proposal is supported by M, KD, L and C, while MP has also expressed support.
Christofer Fjellner (M) says it would be unacceptable if the Social Democrats delay the issue. Alexander Ojanne (S) responds that an evaluation of crime must be done first and calls the proposal populist.
