Shania Twain plays intimate London show before Wembley dates

Shania Twain performed an intimate concert at The Shacklewell Arms in London on June 6. The Grammy-winning artist played to a 200-capacity crowd ahead of her upcoming support slots for Harry Styles.

The show took place at the Dalston venue the night before the article's publication. Twain opened with her new single 'Dirty Rosie' and included hits such as 'Any Man Of Mine', 'Still The One' and 'That Don’t Impress Me Much'. She also performed covers of Kenny Rogers’ 'The Gambler' and Rednex’s 'Cotton Eye Joe'.Twain told the audience that the small-venue setting reminded her of her earliest performances as a child in bars. “They would say, ‘Welcome to the stage, little miss Twain’, and that was me,” she said.The gig precedes her opening for Harry Styles on his 12-night Wembley Stadium run starting the following week. Twain is also scheduled to headline Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick on July 7. Her seventh studio album, 'Little Miss Twain', is due for release on July 24.
