SharpLink and Forward Industries will be added to the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes at the end of June. The move could draw passive investment from index-tracking funds. SharpLink is backed by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin.

SharpLink Gaming will join the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes after markets close on June 29. The addition forms part of FTSE Russell’s annual index reconstitution. The firm holds 872,984 ETH worth roughly $1.8 billion and has not bought more since October. Its shares have fallen 95 percent from their peak last May yet remain above pre-treasury levels.
