Spotify adds narrated magazine articles to platform

Spotify announced Tuesday it is now offering audio versions of long-form articles from major magazines. The feature launches with more than 650 pieces available to Premium users.

The streaming service said the articles come from outlets including Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, Vogue, Variety, Billboard, Vibe, GQ, WIRED, Vanity Fair and Pitchfork. All are under two hours long and count toward Premium subscribers' monthly audiobook allowance. Free users can purchase individual articles for $1.99 each.
