Tesla Model Y Long Wheelbase Now On Display At US Showrooms

Tesla has placed its new Model Y Long Wheelbase on display at eight showrooms across the United States. The move follows an announcement made last week and gives buyers an early chance to experience the stretched electric SUV in person.

The vehicle appears at locations including Fremont and Newport Beach in California, Las Vegas, Houston Galleria, Naperville, Tysons Corner, Meatpacking in New York, and Duluth, Georgia.

The Model Y L extends the wheelbase by nearly six inches and overall length by roughly seven inches compared with the standard model. It features a six-seat layout with second-row captain’s chairs, added legroom, and 89 cubic feet of maximum cargo space.

The Launch Series edition includes dual-motor all-wheel drive, adaptive electronic suspension, and an EPA-estimated range of 325 miles. Tesla first introduced the variant for the Chinese market.
