Tinus Luc Koblar sets timeline for Rögle season

Tinus Luc Koblar has outlined his schedule for the upcoming season after signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 18-year-old Norwegian forward expects to start in the SHL with Rögle if he does not make the NHL roster.

Koblar recently agreed to a three-year contract with the Maple Leafs. He was presented by Rögle at the end of May and had initially been expected to play in the SHL next season.

He stated that he will first attend a development camp next week before returning to Norway. He plans to begin the season with Rögle in August and then report to the Maple Leafs main camp.

Koblar said play in the AHL is not part of the plan. He and his agent decided it would be best for his development to remain another year in the SHL.

Last season Koblar recorded 14 points in 47 games during his SHL debut with Leksand.
