Toy Story 5 is on track to surpass $300 million domestically this weekend in its second frame. Supergirl opened to an estimated $40 million in the United States.
Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 held the top spot with a projected second-weekend gross of $74 million across 4,425 theaters. The film’s domestic total is expected to reach the $300 million mark within ten days of release.
Warner Bros. and DC Studios’ Supergirl debuted with an estimated $40 million from 3,602 locations. Domestic previews contributed $7.8 million to the opening, while the first day of international markets added $5.2 million.
Paramount’s Jackass: Best and Last is tracking between $8 million and $10 million for the weekend. Focus Features’ Obsession earned an estimated $8.5 million in its seventh weekend, bringing its domestic total to $232.6 million.
