Turnstile took the Coachella stage for a high-energy performance, introduced by a pre-taped message from singer Brendan Yates' father, Bill Yates. The set came a week after Yates' father underwent emergency surgery following an alleged attack by the band's former guitarist, Brady Ebert. Blood Orange joined the band for a collaboration during the show.
Turnstile's Friday evening set at Coachella 2026 opened with a heartfelt video from Bill Yates, who has hosted the band's practices in his basement for 13 years. 'I’m Bill Yates, I’m the proud father of Brendan. They’re all sons of mine,' he said in the message. 'To all the fans out there, we love you and Turnstile loves you and enjoy the ride.' The band then launched into 'Never Enough,' the title track from their most recent album, followed by tracks like 'T.L.C. (Turnstile Love Connection),' 'Endless,' and 'Blackout.'
