Valle del Cauca government offers payment plan for vehicle tax

The Valle del Cauca government announced a payment plan for vehicle tax debts from 2025 and prior years.

The Valle del Cauca government launched a payment plan aimed at more than 200,000 vehicle owners with outstanding tax obligations from 2025 and earlier years.

Finance director María Victoria Machado reported that total debts reach about 195 billion pesos and that roughly 600,000 coercive collection processes are underway.

Taxpayers must first pay 30 percent of the debt and then settle the balance in six equal installments. Those who comply will see embargoes and sanctions suspended.

The measure is presented as the final opportunity to regularize obligations before further administrative actions proceed.
