Woman charged with murder after fatal argument over $50 debt

A Minnesota woman faces second-degree murder charges following the fatal shooting of another woman during a dispute over a small debt in Minneapolis. Henrietta Childress, 42, is in custody and accused of killing 32-year-old Aisha Farah Yussuf on May 9.

The incident occurred at an apartment in Minneapolis where Childress, also known as Hershey, and Yussuf argued about money in front of two male witnesses. One witness told police the women were arguing over $50 when Childress retrieved a pistol from a bedroom. Despite efforts by the other man to intervene, Childress fired multiple shots at Yussuf, according to the probable cause statement reviewed by authorities.
