A new patch for WWE 2K26 has increased Ringside XP rewards for custom matches and introduced measures to prevent XP farming. The update also includes various bug fixes and performance improvements. Additionally, a limited-time locker code offers 32,500 in-game VC.
The latest update for WWE 2K26, released ahead of the game's standard edition launch on March 13, 2026, introduces significant changes to the Ringside Pass system. Custom Matches now award RXP (Ringside XP), with earnings increased by approximately 20 percent. Specifically, match completion rewards rise from 25 to 30 RXP, and the match win bonus increases from 85 to 105 RXP. To address players farming XP by finishing matches quickly, a minimum match time requirement has been added: matches under 60 seconds no longer grant the win bonus, providing only completion XP.
The patch also features several bug fixes and technical improvements. These include enhanced overall stability and performance, corrections for issues with RXP not being awarded properly, and fixes for cases where a Game Pass subscription was incorrectly required to access The Island or MyFaction modes. Other resolutions cover 2K account linking problems, issues with the Dominik Mysterio reward mask, and some attacks not triggering correctly. Performance issues in The Island mode have been addressed as well.
Players who purchased premium editions—King of Kings, Attitude Era, or Monday Night War—gained early access starting March 6, 2026. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Complementing the update, a new locker code "MZFGCPCR" provides 32,500 in-game VC and must be redeemed by noon on March 12, 2026. To redeem, start the game, navigate to the main menu, select Locker Codes, enter the code exactly as shown (case-sensitive), and confirm to claim rewards.
