XODIAC samples liwetan during Indonesia visit

South Korean boy group XODIAC enjoyed traditional Sundanese liwetan dish during an event in Depok. Member Sing devoured a whole balado egg, while Beomsoo praised its taste as mantul. This marks their fourth visit to Indonesia in 2025.

XODIAC returned to Indonesia for their fourth visit in 2025. They performed at a private TV station's birthday event at Trans Studio Mall Cibubur, Depok, on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The members sang popular songs like Throw a Dice and Hey Day, greeted enthusiastically by fans.

During a break, XODIAC was invited to sample liwetan, a traditional West Javanese rice dish served on banana leaves. Indra Herlambang, the event host, explained its tradition symbolizing togetherness and family bonds. Zayyan, the Indonesian member, distributed plastic gloves for comfortable eating. With a translator's help, Indra described the sides like balado eggs, chicken, and crackers.

One by one, the members began eating. Sing immediately took a balado egg and ate it whole. "He (Sing) ate one egg," said Indra Herlambang. Beomsoo chose crackers, Davin took chicken, while Hyungsik was already chewing. Zayyan watched his bandmates, Ouyin waited patiently, Gyumin glanced around, Wain focused on Hyungsik, and Lex enjoyed the atmosphere from a slightly tucked position.

When asked about the taste, Hyungsik and Beomsoo both gave thumbs up. "Mantul," said Beomsoo enthusiastically. Besides liwetan, they tried traditional market snacks and wore blangkon headpieces after succeeding in a team-building game. This experience added cultural flavor to XODIAC's visit to Indonesia.
