XRP ETFs draw inflows as wallets surge

XRP-linked investment products attracted roughly $42 million in net inflows over the past week. This occurred even as U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs lost more than $1.4 billion and ether funds also shed assets. On-chain data showed a one-day spike of about 4,300 new XRP wallets.

XRP held near $1.37 by midday Hong Kong time on Thursday, according to CoinDesk market data. XRP-linked funds pulled in $8.88 million in the latest session. This extended a streak that included $18.52 million on May 14 and $10.87 million on May 15. Bitcoin hovered around $77,400 while ether remained under pressure.

U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds attracted $25.8 million in net inflows on Monday, marking the biggest single-day total since early January. The surge lifted cumulative net inflows to a new all-time high of $1.35 billion. XRP traded at $1.47 after rising 1.2 percent over 24 hours.

XRP dropped more than 5 percent in a single day to $1.40, even as exchange-traded funds saw record inflows and on-chain activity increased. Institutional signals point to growing interest, yet spot prices have not followed.

XRP has risen nearly 5% in the past 24 hours to $1.42, outperforming bitcoin, ethereum and solana. Prediction markets show 67% odds of it exceeding $1.50 in March. Despite the gains, over half of its supply remains at a loss.

Digital asset investment products saw $288 million in net outflows last week, marking the fifth consecutive week of losses. This brings cumulative outflows to $4 billion so far in the period. Trading volumes dropped to $17 billion, the lowest since July 2025.
