Audira Putri, a young musician from Yogyakarta, has released her debut single 'Balada Rasa', reflecting her teenage emotions. The song was written by Ardy Nurdin from the band Jikustik and is now available on digital streaming platforms. This marks Audira's initial step into the national music industry under the Sinopsis Creative Hub label.
Yogyakarta is renowned as a student city that continually produces talented musicians. Now, 22-year-old Audira Putri introduces herself through her debut single 'Balada Rasa'. The song captures her daily life as a teenager, exploring feelings that grow despite physical distance but remain close.
'I want to introduce the most honest side of myself through this song. Balada Rasa is an introduction—not just to the music world, but also to myself,' Audira stated. Previously, she honed her vocal skills for over three years as a session player for the legendary band Jikustik. This experience shaped her calm and emotive vocal style.
'Balada Rasa' was written by Ardy Nurdin, Jikustik's guitarist and songwriter known for hits like 'Puisi'. Featuring minimalistic arrangements and soft melodies, Audira performs it with sincerity. 'Audira has a depth of emotion rarely found in young musicians. I wrote this song specifically to match her vocal color,' Ardy said.
Under Sinopsis Creative Hub, the music video was directed with an intimate and natural visual approach, capturing everyday scenes aligned with the song's meaning. 'Creatively, the video concept was kept simple so the song's message could be conveyed fully, as if sharing the same space with Audira's feelings. We want people to see Audira as she is,' explained producer Krishnamurti Prawirohardjo.
Currently, Audira is studying Music Arts Education at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). This debut is seen as the start of a new voice from Yogyakarta born from tranquility. 'We believe music born from sincerity always finds its way,' Krishnamurti added. Through this track, Audira brings a soft pop color with personal lyrics, choosing honesty as her path in creation.
