British singer Yungblud has announced the cancellation of all his remaining 2025 tour dates following concerning health tests. The decision comes on doctor's orders after voice and blood tests raised issues, affecting shows in the US and Latin America. He expressed heartbreak over the move but promised refunds and gifts for fans.
Announcement and Reason
On November 15, 2025, Yungblud, the 28-year-old musician from Doncaster, shared the news via Instagram Story after routine tests upon returning home from tour. "This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns," he wrote. His doctor advised him to take the situation seriously and cancel performances to avoid lasting damage, despite his tendency to push through exhaustion for the music and fans.
Canceled Shows
The cancellations impact the final leg of his Idols World Tour, including US dates in Philadelphia (November 19), Cleveland (November 23), and Washington, D.C. (November 25–26). Additional shows in Mexico City and other Latin American locations are also scrapped. All US tickets will be fully refunded, and affected fans who provide an address will receive a gift from Yungblud.
Yungblud's Statement
"My heart is broken," Yungblud shared. "I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you." He emphasized the need to prioritize health for a sustainable career.
Background and Future Plans
Yungblud has been touring extensively in support of his fourth studio album, Idols, released in June 2025, which topped the UK Albums Chart and reached No. 15 on Billboard's Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. The album has earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album, with tracks "Zombie" nominated for Best Rock Song and a live "Changes" for Best Rock Performance.
Upcoming, he plans to resume the tour in January 2026 with an Australian leg, including Lollapalooza India on January 24, followed by UK and Ireland arena dates in April—recently extended due to demand—and a North American amphitheater tour in summer 2026.
Recently, Yungblud collaborated with Aerosmith on the EP One More Time, set for release on November 21, 2025, featuring the single "My Only Angel," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in September.
