Robin Kovacs reveals insurance row behind failed AIK return

In the latest twist to his attempted return to AIK Hockey, forward Robin Kovacs detailed on Instagram the insurance dispute that derailed the transfer, despite his offer to cover the costs himself. This follows AIK's April 29 announcement ending talks and his April 30 departure from Linköping HC.
AIK has resumed contact with forward Robin Kovacs and presented a fresh contract proposal. Club chief executive Stefan Gustavson confirmed the update during an interview with Expressen.

American center Tyler Vesel has signed with AIK after three seasons with Brynäs. The 32-year-old forward agreed to a contract through the 2027/28 season. AIK views him as a key addition to their offense ahead of next season.
Daniel Muzito-Bagenda, a popular forward with AIK, will not receive a new contract from the club. The 29-year-old departs after 249 matches and 170 points over five seasons. He described the business nature of hockey in an interview with HockeyNews.

AIK trails Modo 0-2 in their Hockeyallsvenskan playoff quarterfinal series. Forward Oliver Johansson, sidelined by injury for the first two games, makes his comeback in game three at Hovet. Scott Pooley was named the league's MVP ahead of the matchup.
