Netflix's live-action adaptation of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed has cast Lola Petticrew and Zachary Hart as series regulars, joining previously announced co-lead Toby Wallace. Their roles remain under wraps, but the series is set in Ancient Rome and expected to film in Italy starting in early 2026. The project, first announced in 2020, explores a new storyline distinct from the games.
Archaeologists have discovered a massive stone-lined basin in the ancient city of Gabii, dating back to around 250 B.C. The find, led by University of Missouri professor Marcello Mogetta, offers insights into early Roman urban planning and Greek influences. Its central location suggests it was a key civic structure, possibly part of the city's forum.
