Child Abandonment

A two-day-old baby girl was found abandoned in a nasi uduk cart on Jalan Pejaten Raya, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on March 3, 2026. The infant was reportedly left by her 12-year-old brother with a note stating their mother died during childbirth. Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno has asked the Social Services Agency to handle the case.
