Pokémon Champions announces April 2026 release window

The Pokémon Company has revealed that its upcoming competitive battling game, Pokémon Champions, will launch in April 2026 on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 platforms. A mobile version is planned for later in the year, with cross-play and cross-save features across all editions. The announcement came during the Pokémon Presents showcase on Pokémon Day.
A writer has returned to competitive Pokémon battles after more than a decade away, thanks to the new game Pokémon Champions. The experience allowed use of personal favorite monsters instead of meta choices.
