Kenya's High Court granted former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju a KSh200,000 anticipatory bond on March 24, 2026, preventing police arrest during investigations into claims he staged his own abduction. This follows his March 23 detention after resurfacing from a 36-hour disappearance, during which his health deteriorated, leading to ICU admission.

The Uijeongbu District Court issued an arrest warrant on Friday for Park Wang-yeol, a 48-year-old notorious drug trafficker repatriated from the Philippines. The court cited risks of flight and evidence destruction. He arrived in South Korea in handcuffs on Wednesday and was immediately placed in police custody.

Shiann Lynn Erickson, a 24-year-old from Moorhead, Minnesota, has reached a plea deal and is set to plead guilty to second-degree murder in the 2024 death of 3-year-old Eastyn Deronjic.
