Fox orders two seasons of Family Guy spin-off Stewie

Fox and Hulu have given a two-season order to Stewie, a new animated comedy spin-off from Family Guy centered on the character Stewie Griffin. The series, co-created by Seth MacFarlane and Kirker Butler, is set to premiere during the 2027-28 broadcast season on Fox, with next-day streaming on Hulu. It follows Stewie as he navigates a new preschool using his inventions for space and time adventures.
Seth MacFarlane, creator and voice actor for multiple Family Guy characters, revealed in an IGN interview that Tom Tucker is the easiest to perform. He attributed this to the character's formal news delivery style. MacFarlane contrasted it with the more demanding voices of Peter, Stewie, and Brian.
