North Korea has launched the fifth stage of its housing development project in Pyongyang's Hwasong area, state media reported on Thursday, just days after completing the fourth stage. The initiative, a pet project of leader Kim Jong-un unveiled in 2021, seeks to address housing shortages and improve living standards. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday ahead of the ninth congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The construction of 100,000 housing units planned for the 2018 budget year in Addis Ababa is progressing with speed and quality, according to the city's Housing Development Agency (KNTBA ABBB).
