Ethiopia forms national committee to prepare for COP32

Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed chaired a meeting of the national steering committee for COP32 preparations. The conference is described as a major platform to showcase Ethiopia to the world and highlight its tourism potential. Foreign Minister Dr. Gedion Timothewos has been appointed as the COP32 representative president.
Hong Kong will host the annual Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Conference and Exhibition next month, drawing 2,500 delegates from more than 65 jurisdictions to discuss the impact of geopolitics on education, including whether American universities can still provide students with a positive experience. The event follows a vow by Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu two years ago to promote the “Study in Hong Kong” brand through such global academic gatherings.

L'Egitto ospiterà il 24º Incontro delle Parti contraenti della Convenzione di Barcellona (COP24) dal 2 al 5 dicembre, riunendo ministri dell'ambiente e rappresentanti di 21 paesi mediterranei insieme a alti funzionari del Programma delle Nazioni Unite per l'ambiente. La conferenza esaminerà i progressi 2024–2025 nell'ambito del Piano d'Azione per il Mediterraneo e adotterà decisioni chiave sul programma di lavoro e sul bilancio 2026–2027.
