Netflix's live-action adaptation of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed has cast Lola Petticrew and Zachary Hart as series regulars, joining previously announced co-lead Toby Wallace. Their roles remain under wraps, but the series is set in Ancient Rome and expected to film in Italy starting in early 2026. The project, first announced in 2020, explores a new storyline distinct from the games.
Netflix has revealed the first poster for its live-action anime remake The One Piece, confirming a February 2027 premiere for the seven-episode first season adapting the East Blue saga from Eiichiro Oda's manga. The streamer also shared concept art from Windmill Village.

Production has begun on Netflix and Legendary's live-action Gundam movie in Queensland, Australia—following the streaming deal secured earlier this year—with six new actors joining the ensemble. The additions include Jason Isaacs, Javon Walton, Jackson White, Nonso Anozie, Oleksandr Rudynskyi, and Ida Brooke.
