Elon Musk announced that Tesla intends to release design and software materials for the Model S and Model X vehicles, following the approach used for the original Roadster.
The Tesla Model X was the fastest-selling used vehicle in the United States in March 2026. It found a buyer on average in 26 days, outpacing the typical car that lingers for about two months. Other Tesla models also sold quickly.
