Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has reunited with composer Shye Ben Tzur and The Rajasthan Express for a new album titled Ranjha, set for release on May 8 via World Circuit/BMG. The project follows their 2015 collaboration Junun and features the lead single of the same name, accompanied by an eight-minute music video. Recording took place in an Oxford studio, differing from the fort setting of their previous work.
Radiohead has issued a statement demanding that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement remove a social media video featuring a choral version of their song 'Let Down.' The band criticized the Department of Homeland Security for using the track from their 1997 album 'OK Computer' in a post highlighting alleged crimes by immigrants. Radiohead has delayed two European tour performances in Copenhagen due to frontman Thom Yorke's severe throat infection. The shows originally set for December 1 and 2 will now occur on December 15 and 16 at the Royal Arena. The band's remaining dates at the venue proceed as scheduled.
