Paramount Pictures has announced release dates for two upcoming films in its popular video game franchises. The first teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog 4, released on March 19, 2026, confirms Jim Carrey's return as Doctor Eggman despite his apparent death in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It features a voiceover referencing chaos and shows the Chaos Emeralds with flashes of characters including Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Maddie, and Tom.
