KOSPI opens lower amid inflation woes and US tech slump

South Korean stocks opened lower Tuesday amid growing concerns over inflation and an overnight slump in U.S. tech shares.
The Dax gave up its holiday gains on Friday and closed below the 24,000-point mark. The benchmark index ended the week two percent lower at 23,950 points.

Tank manufacturer KNDS intends to proceed with its stock market listing on the original schedule and will not wait for a possible stake by the German government. Chief executive Jean-Paul Alary confirmed on Friday that preparations continue.
