The UAAP said on June 14 it will review investigation findings into the June 8 drowning deaths of Ateneo basketball players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili before deciding on sanctions.

Casiey Dongallo of the UP Fighting Maroons will miss the remainder of UAAP Season 88 women's volleyball due to anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus tears in her left knee. The injury occurred on March 8 during a match against the FEU Lady Tamaraws. She is expected to be sidelined for 10 to 12 months.
Despite injuries to key players, La Salle Green Archers defeated UE Red Warriors 84-72, tying for second place in UAAP Season 88. This marks La Salle's sixth win, while UE remains winless at 0-9. The game took place at Mall of Asia Arena on October 29.
