Colo Colo president Aníbal Mosa announced on Friday that the club reached an agreement with goalkeeper Vozinha for his incorporation in the coming days.
Mosa made the announcement at the Estadio Monumental before Colo Colo's match against Deportes Limache in the Liga de Primera. “We have reached an agreement so that Vozinha can join the biggest team in the country in the coming days,” he said.
The deal includes final details to be adjusted and covers the Cape Verdean goalkeeper's stay for the rest of the season and all of 2027. Vozinha, 40, stood out at the 2026 World Cup with Cabo Verde, where his Instagram followers grew from around 50 thousand to 29.5 million.
The goalkeeper will compete for the starting spot with Gabriel Maureira and Fernando de Paul. Mosa highlighted both the sporting aspect and the global impact of the signing for the club.
