The original lyrics read 'Aku dijauhin ya gapapa. Aku dimusuhin ya gapapa'. The new version became 'Aku ditidxxxn ya gapapa, aku dihamxxxn ya gapapa'.
Seruni Bahar, the lyric writer, also criticized the action. She called the change out of line and inappropriate for the sake of popularity.
The identity of the suspected singer has not been confirmed. Instagram commenters on Anisa Bahar's account suspect the person is Icha Chellow.
