The government announced the distribution of 29,333 tons of the Hilton quota among 81 companies to export high-quality beef to the European Union in the 2026/27 period.
The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries published Resolution No. 105/2026 in the Official Gazette with the tariff quota allocation. Of the total, 26,401 tons correspond to slaughterhouses and 2,932 tons to joint producer projects.
Ten companies concentrated 67% of the industry quota. Swift Argentina received 3,509 tons, followed by Frigorífico Rioplatense with 2,358 tons and Arre Beef with 2,227 tons.
Argentina has already executed 7% of the quota through advances, with average prices close to 19,000 dollars per ton. The commercial cycle runs from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
