The 11th matchday of the Bundesliga started with a fan protest: The first 12 minutes were silent in the stadiums as a statement against stricter security measures. In the match FC Bayern Munich against SC Freiburg at the Allianz Arena, the visitors led 2-0 after goals from Yuito Suzuki (12th minute) and Johan Manzambi (17th minute). The hosts showed weaknesses in set-piece defense, as already in their 2-2 draw against Union Berlin.

Lennart Karl pulled one back to make it 1-2 (22nd minute), and Michael Olise equalized in first-half stoppage time (45.+2). It was 2-2 at halftime. In the second half, Bayern took control: Dayot Upamecano scored in the 55th minute, Harry Kane made it 4-2 in the 60th minute with an assist from Karl. Another goal came in the 78th minute from Nicolas Jackson, and Olise completed the 6-2 in the 84th minute.

Harry Kane, tied with 13 season goals alongside SC Freiburg's total before the match, scored only one, but the visitors could not capitalize. SC Freiburg's Maximilian Eggestein has now played 19 games against Bayern without a win. It was Bayern's 26th home league game against Freiburg, and they remained unbeaten (25 wins, 1 draw).

The table leaders reacted calmly to the early deficit and demonstrated their strength. The win underscores Munich's dominance despite initial troubles.
